When desktop export matters for game features

Browser preview is useful for early playtests, but desktop export matters when the game needs packaging, richer input, desktop file access, platform behavior, or performance proof.

Some game features are bigger than the browser

Browser preview can show the main loop, but it is not the right proof for every feature. Desktop save behavior, platform plugins, platform packaging, controller edge cases, and desktop performance need a desktop build before they are trustworthy.

Export is a product promise, not just a file operation

A desktop PC build is what a creator can share and play outside the browser. Flockbay should treat export as a quality step: the project must be coherent, the game should open, and Director 1 should help fix issues before packaging.

The right sequence protects trust

Start from a real project, use browser preview to judge the current game, keep refining what the player feels, then export when the project is ready for desktop proof. That sequence lets Flockbay stay ambitious without promising instant finished games.
